Best Honeywell Programmable Thermostat Review

Best Programmable Thermostat Under $100, Honeywell RTH6580WF Review

The Honeywell RTH6580WF Wi-Fi 7-Day Programmable Thermostat is one of the best programmable thermostats under $100 that actually looks like a thermostat, on the thermostat, there’s a big, backlit digital display and easy controls. It is a 7 day programmable thermostat with built-in Wi-Fi module enabling remote monitoring and management. Honeywell is well known for producing plenty of high quality products to use around the house. This RTH6580WF can give you up to 7 programmable days, with 4 daily periods. This one makes it possible to adjust the comfort of your home from anywhere – in case that you have Internet access.  It provides large display size for better use even in dimly lit rooms and hallways, and at the same time ensuring simplified programming and operation.

You can use this thermostat in single stage systems, as well as multi-stage systems; there’s no preference when it comes to that portion of the process. Anyway, I think it is the cheapest wifi thermostat I have ever seen.

It need a C wire to power on, If your HVAC system or furnace didn’t have C-wire you can use a 12v AC adapter to power it. The Honeywell app allows you to set schedules, adjust the temperature or turn the system on or off. It has the Honeywell’s Smart Response Technology where the thermostat learns your system and calculates how long it will take to heat or cool your home and adjusts itself automatically.
